Ever Try Something New on a Sacred Tradition?

Yeah, well we did tonight.

We (well, I) decided to decorate Easter Eggs tonight. I saw a new idea using items I already have over on M3's blog. So I hopped (pun intended) on over to her blog and tried it.

Using simple crayons and very warm cooked eggs, we went to work.

Then we took the nice, freshly-cooked, and warmer-than-you'd-like-to-hold eggs and began drawing, using only Crayola crayons as suggested:

The kids seemed to have fun.

One of them cracked and became further cracked when Rick tried to dry it. So, he drew a bandage for it.

A fine array of artwork, skillfully drawn by my amateur budding artists:

Hope everyone gets lots of candy! Chocolate goes very nicely with the wine, by the way.

Especially the chocolates from the kids' Easter Baskets...

Not that I know anything about that.
