Why I Don't Farm for a Living

These were planted from seed by me in my garden.

I've also tried to grow basil and cilantro.

I love my grocery store.

Heh!! I'm not laughing at you, it's with you of course.

At least you got some sort of produce. Our bunny mowed everything down to the dirt.

now that made me laugh and I needed a laugh!

Thank goodness for the farmers market, huh? We tried growing tomatoes in containers a couple years ago with marginal results. It's not always easy.

Maybe you can ship those little carrots to M3 and she can let the girls feed them to their rabbit? ;)

That's too funny! I planted carrots from seeds this year too. It's my first time. I don't plan to take a peek for at least another month. It's hard to resist, because they are supposed to be purple.

But I do have a matching stack of radishes. I just cannot resist pulling them up before they are ready. We are dying for tomatoes. The bushes are enormous, but the fruit are sparse.

At least the ginormous zucchini plant has about 5 zucchini starting. That plant grows about a foot or two a day, quite shocking.

Keep up the good work. Let those babies stay in the ground a little longer.

Oh, I also did basil and cilantro, but did those from plants rather than seeds.

Sorry everyone, apparently Blogger had some trouble and wiped out everyone's comments. I can't seem to get them back either.

So funny! I don't mean to boast, but check out our garden pictures on my FB page. I put them there at the request of a friend.

I haven't tried picking any carrots yet.
