Fashion Challenge Friday and Many More Happenings!

My bloggy friend, M3 started Fashion Challenge Friday with her twins and it's been great fun to see what our children come up with.

Today's fashion challenge happened when Caroline got out of bed before mommy. She came into my room to announce that she found what she wanted to wear today and dressed herself thusly....

We purchased this sleep shirt at Ross a few days ago and she has decided she doesn't want to use it as a sleep shirt because she doesn't want it to wrinkle : ) Well, alrighty then! She paired it with shorts...mind you it is still NOT shorts weather here in sunny S. Cal. and it's mid-June!






Peter made the Honor Roll again. His Aunt Dana said she would give him money for every A he brings home. She may regret this later as it seems to have lit a fire under him to do well! Still, I'm so very proud of him. He has worked very hard this year and is so pleased with himself when he does well. He has learned to take initiative to get his work done. Let's hope this trend continues through the teen years. Here he is pictured with his friend, Camden who just moved here a few months ago from AZ. They sat next to each other and have become fast friends. Today was also the last day of school and I am soon to become the mom of a 5th grader!


He continues to do well in TaeKwonDo and I think the lessons have really helped him to keep focus on goal-setting.


In other happenings, Rick took Caroline to Disneyland for a Daddy/Daughter day about 2 weeks ago. She had a blast and met many of the characters. Tinkerbell's line had a great many, uh, teenage boys in it and Tink graciously took pictures with them and booted them on. So when Tink saw Caroline, she spent a little time talking with her. She also met Alice and the Mad Hatter when they first arrived but Caroline only had eyes for Alice so the Mad Hatter busied himself with walking around. I wish I had sent her dressed in her own Alice costume. It would have been a cute picture. Here are some other pictures:
