Nagging doesn't work. Reminding doesn't work. Heaving sighing doesn't work.
Children seem to have selective hearing.

oohhhh man! And I thought only my kids had issues with that! Whew!
Sooooo stealing that idea...I must say "did you flush..and wash? I didn't hear it...?" 10 times a day!
