Blue Belt!!

Peter tested for his blue belt and passed with the flying color blue! He was the only one testing for his particular belt color this time and he had to test all by himself and he did great! More than one parent came up to me afterward and told me how impressed they were with his composure. He did all his moves without the aid of other students testing with him and knew his student creed for the blue belt cold!

Master Yoo and Instructor Julie did some demonstrations prior to the testing for the parents to watch. Very cool stuff! However, afterward Master Yoo said after today, he retires from demonstrations. At 36, I guess he feels old. The parents and the students laughed, knowing he is just tired.

There were a lot of green belt students testing for their green stripe belt and purple belts that advanced to green belts.

The music was loud for the demonstrations and the "Yes Sir"s from the students were also loud. Breaking boards required the loud music as well and the clapping for each student was loud.

And it didn't bother Caroline one bit....
